More InfoThis engaging and skill-building workshop introduces students to sculpting with clay! Young artists will create a detailed, realistic rabbit sculpture and learn fundamental clay techniques such as shaping, smoothing, and refining textures. Under the expert guidance of Julia Sawicki, students will be introduced to the importance of structure in sculpture, using an armature to help shape their clay piece. They will experiment with sculpting tools to create lifelike fur textures, expressive eyes, and accurate proportions. Once the clay has dried, students will paint their sculptures with acrylics, bringing their rabbits to life with colour and detail. This workshop is ideal for children who enjoy hands-on art projects and want to develop their three-dimensional art skills. Each student will take home their beautifully crafted rabbit sculpture, a wonderful keepsake to display at home.
